Before we add any experience, we do the homework. We dig into local insights, ask operators hard questions, and look for red flags. Is it a tourist trap? Is it ethical? Is the operator invested in their community?

Meet the operator

We get to know the people behind every experience. A passionate host is the difference between a good trip and a life-changing one. We look for operators who love what they do and have been doing it long enough to do it well.

Test the experience

We don’t just research — we go. Our team tests experiences personally wherever possible. When we can’t, we work with trusted local scouts who share our standards.

Write it honestly

Every listing is written by our editorial team from first-hand experience or deep research. No copy-paste from operator brochures. If something was disappointing, we say so. If a highlight depends on weather or season, we say that too.

Keep checking

We monitor reviews, follow up with travellers, and revisit operators. If quality drops, the listing comes down. Curation isn’t a one-time event — it’s ongoing.
